Year 11 enjoyed some welcome sunshine on their field trip to Gateshead, just one week after it being cancelled due to snow and ice!

They were investigating land use, environmental quality and pedestrian flows around Gateshead Quayside and whether the proximity to the River Tyne has had an influence on its redevelopment.


They were a credit to the academy and are now in a very strong position to tackle their Unit 3 exam, which assesses their field work skills.
