Year 7 footballers set the bar high in their first taste of competitive 5-a-side football. Manager Mr Richardson was left ecstatic after an evening of great achievement with his team remaining unbeaten throughout the tournament.

Macmillan was drawn against Acklam Grange and Ormsby in group fixtures, winning 3-2 and 6-2 respectively. Scoring 9 goals resulted in Frankie Angioy breaching opposition defences 5 times as well as Dylan Savvery likening himself to Mesut Ozil, carving out goals with 4 assists.

Sam Train remained solid between the sticks, producing several smart stops. While Oli Cairney, George Luke and Kieran Thompson took advantage of rolling subs to add their name to the score sheet.

Flying out of the group stages, Nunthorpe was the next team to fall in the path of Macmillan with a resulting 4-1 victory to our boys. Frankie Angioy proved his worth with 2 goals, whilst Oli Cairney and Dylan Savvery also secured victory, with the later adding to his group assists, his tally now at 5.

Macmillan grafted in the final to manufacture a 2-1 victory. Dylan Savvery was the star man, assisting Oli Cairney's goal and grabbing one for himself. No official trophy yet, but Macmillan progress to represent Middlesbrough at the Tees Valley finals.

Other players included Amir Kadir and Oli Cann who provided great assistance and worked hard to help secure their team's victory.
