On the 6th July our French Partner school Catherine de Vivonne from Rambouillet came to spend the day at Macmillan Academy. Students were able to meet with their pen pal who they have been writing to throughout the year.

During the day students took part in different activities in small groups such as science, cooking, orienteering, art, music, drama, DT, and health and social care which enabled students from both schools to use their language skills in a real-life situation. After school they enjoyed going shopping together at Teesside Park. Later, the French students watched the academy production of Legally Blonde. Both schools thoroughly enjoyed the day, and it will be memorable for everyone.
