Almost all of our Year 9 students are taking part in their Bronze Duke of Edinburgh (DofE) expeditions over the coming weeks — a key milestone in their journey toward achieving the award.

 

This week, a group of around 20 students completed their two-day expedition on Monday and Tuesday. They followed a planned route they had carefully prepared, navigating the stunning but challenging terrain of the North Yorkshire Moors. It was fantastic to see them working together, problem-solving, and supporting one another — all essential skills the DofE Award is designed to develop.

 

Another group of students will be heading out on Thursday and Friday this week, and we wish them the very best of luck as they take on their own expedition adventure.
