How to fill it in

  1. Block out your fixed commitments first. School, clubs, meals, sleep, downtime. Revision fits around real life.
  2. Add short, focused sessions. 25–40 minutes with a short break after each. Little and often beats marathon sessions.
  3. Name the subject and the task. Not just "Science" but "Biology flashcards: cells" or "Maths past-paper Q1–4". Specific plans get done.
  4. Mix it up. Spread subjects across the week rather than spending a whole day on one. Your brain remembers more when topics are interleaved.
  5. Tick each session off. Ticking the box is your instant reward — and your streak. Never miss twice.

What to put in each session

Most sessions: flashcards

Short retrieval sessions to lock in core knowledge. Always answer before you flip the card. See how →

At least once a week: a past paper

One timed question or section, marked against the mark scheme, to build exam technique. See how →

Tip: If you're not sure how much time you need, start small and adjust. An honest timetable you actually follow beats an ambitious one you abandon by Wednesday.
