Recognition and Reward now form a higher mark within the Macmillan celebration culture, through initiatives such as the new departmental postcards, Tutee of the Week, the department recognition wall, and the end-of-term reward trips, to name just a few. This last week has seen a flurry of excitement in assembly, with over 150 students awarded certificates for achievements including attendance, positive behaviour points, Student of the Lesson, and Ready to Learn. Well done to all who received recognition, your efforts have certainly been acknowledged!

 

To finish off the week, around 90 students were taken on a trip to Hollywood Bowl. These students were our highest point achievers for the Student of the Lesson awards. They had a great time, albeit a very competitive game of bowling, they also enjoyed some social time with friends. What a fantastic way to celebrate all the hard work! Finally we also take this opportunity to wish our Year 11 students every success in the exam season, which has recently commenced.
