Outstanding GCSE Results

Staff at Macmillan Academy are today celebrating alongside Year 11 students as they receive their GCSE results.

The students have once again demonstrated remarkable perseverance and dedication, which is evident in the excellent outcomes they have secured. Their achievements are a testament to their hard work, supported by the encouragement of staff and parents/carers.

Mr. King, Deputy Headteacher, commended the students for their efforts:

“These results are the product of sustained effort and resilience from our students throughout their time at the academy. Today is not only a celebration of their academic success, but also an acknowledgment of the personal growth and determination that has brought them to this point.”

Echoing these sentiments, Mr Smith, Head of Year, encouraged students to take pride in their accomplishments and look forward to building on their success in the next stage of their education: “Today is a day for celebration. The hard work and dedication you’ve shown have paid off, and I urge you to take this momentum with you as you embark on your next chapter in September.”

Headteacher Rachel Coning said, “we are very proud of this year’s Year 11 cohort; their hard work and commitment have certainly paid off.  It is lovely to see lots of students staying at the academy in Post 16 and continuing their educational journey with us.  We wish all of our students well in whatever they go on to do next.”
