Homophones
Homophones are tricky words which sound the same but have different meanings and are sometimes
spelled differently (there, their and they're, for example).
A homophone may also
differ in spelling (e.g. new & knew) but both words could have the same spelling (e.g. rose & rose).

Prefixes
