We are looking for an enthusiastic, outstanding Teacher of Business who will inspire our students to reach their full potential. The department offers a wide variety of courses across key stage 4 and 5, including GCSE Business, OCR Enterprise and Marketing, BTEC L3 Applied Law and BTEC L3 Business. The ability to teach law would be an advantage.
The successful candidate will be a hard-working and inspirational teacher who can motivate students to succeed; they will be a reflective practitioner with a desire to continually develop their own skills and demonstrate a good underpinning knowledge of teaching and learning.
Macmillan Academy is situated in Middlesbrough on Teesside. It is a good school with over 1600 students on roll including around 300 in Post 16. Our strong reputation for academic success is matched by our desire to provide a holistic education for every student.
