Test your powers of deduction in the Library’s Crime Competition. See if you can complete the crime word search and then solve all the clues to discover how the victim was murdered. The deadline is Wednesday 19th June.
Popular novelist Bali Rai will be visiting the academy library on Wednesday 27th March. Bali has written many novels about teenage lives in multi-cultural, inner-city Britain. These include “(Un)arranged Marriage”, “Rani and Sukh” and “The Last Taboo”. Bali will be delivering workshops on his GCSE set book “Rani and Sukh” to Y10 classes and during lunch-time he’ll be available to meet other students and to sell and sign his books.
Are you a budding poet? If so pick up an entry form from the Library, compose your poem and hand it in before Friday 8th February. You could be a winner!
