Project Glass

Google have unveiled this week a new development called Project Glass.

Many are describing Project Glass as the future of mobile communications using Wearable technology.

The demonstration this week used Sky Divers – see video below.

Much more interesting, is the future of this technology – shown below in the video titled “One Day”.

Google Endangered Languages Project

Google have started an ambitious project to record languages across the globe in an attempt to preserve the most endangered languages and cultures.

Click here to read more about the project.

Projects such as this one highlight the way technology can transform and improve the way we live.  Without the Internet and other collaboration tools, projects such as this could not exist.
