Hi guys,
I’m sorry I didn’t get chance to tell you this personally with Thursday s enrichment being cancelled but next term I will handing English Club over into the very capable hands of Miss Gallant. I will be moving onto drama and mfl for the next term but obviously will still be around to help if you want anything.

Hi guys!
On 22nd November 2010 at 6:30pm one of the regions greatest writers will be appearing at Stockton Central Library!
David Almond, author of Skellig, Kit’s Wilderness, Clay and many more will be discussing his new book My Name is Mina. tickets cost only£3 and that’s including refreshments!
I’ve been lucky enough to meet David twice before and I can honestly say he’s incredible. The way he talks about writing and books is amazing! I learnt so much from him about how to write and you could too!
If I wasn’t in Ullswater I’d be going along but sadly I’ll have to leave it up to you guys to pop along in my absence. I’d highly recommend going he’s so entertaining to listen to and find out about how he came up with his stories and to find out what life is like as a writer.
If you do go be sure to tell me all about it!
Also, if you’re sitting there thinking “I’ve never even read a David Almond book” get yourself to see Mrs Burns in the library and take out Skellig – I assure you, you won’t be disappointed!
