Remote desktop connection
Please click the link below to access the Remote Desktop Connection. You will need to enter your network username and password. You can try the old standard remote dektop or the new remote services by clicking the links below:
Notice - you may need to add 'MACMILLAN\' before your username the first time you use remote desktop again. This is due to changes on our network.
Any Problems please contact helpdesk on 4470 during office hours and by email out of hours stating your username.
NEW REMOTE SERVICES
To get the best out of this service, you need to be running Windows Vista or Windows 7 (XP will work but the process is not as smooth – you need to enter logon details more times).
It should be noted that this service does not provide you with a full remote desktop experience; you run only the application which appears as if it is running on your own PC.
You have access to your H:\ drive via “My Documents”, and with the new system you can print to your own home printer and copy and paste files between home and remote systems.
