Choosing Your Courses In Post 16

There are a wide variety of courses to choose from at Post 16.

It is important to select courses that you think you are most suited to. The different types of courses that we run are listed in the table:


Due to the increasingly difficult nature of ‘A’ levels, we have changed our entry requirements for Post 16 ‘A’ level courses. To study any A level you will need to have 5A*-C including a minimum of a 4 mathematics and English.

If you have 5A*-C but do not achieve a 4 in mathematics and/or English you will be able to study BTEC Nationals. If you do not have 5A*-C grades at GCSE you would be able to study our Level 2 Hospitality course.

We believe we are the best Sixth Form provider in the local area. But don’t just take our word for it. Our results speak for themselves. In 2016 we had a 100% pass rate with 55% of our A level entries being A*-B grade.

Cultural Trip to New York

On Sunday 19 February 32 Post 16 students and 4 staff headed off on the first Post 16 visit to New York City. After a flight from Manchester to JFK airport the group were ready to see the sights and sounds of New York.
