None of the outdoor learning enrichments are signed up online. If you wish to attend any of the outdoor learning enrichments you must attend one of the sign up sessions.
These sessions will be advertised at the start of each term and places are allocated on a first come first served basis. Get there early to avoid disappointment.
Enrichments that are delivered through external providers may be subject to charge. All charges will be advertised at the point of signing up.
This enrichment only runs in the September and May terms and offers 12 places to go out and ride our fleet of Specialized Rockhopper bikes. This enrichment involves lots of climbing and descending hills and requires a good level of fitness. It is an extended enrichment that finishes at 6.30pm.
This enrichment only runs in the September and May terms and offers 12 students the chance to learn how to sail and kayak. It takes place at Tees Barage and is run by fully qualified instructors. It is an extended enrichment that finishes at 5.30pm.
This enrichment only runs in the September and May terms and offers 10 students the chance to learn to surf. It takes place at Saltburn Surf School and is run by fully qualified instructors. It is an extended enrichment that finishes at 6.30pm.
12 places are available for a term at a time. All instruction is provided by fully qualified members of staff and equipment is provided. You should wear your normal PE kit. This enrichment offers the opportunity to participate in the NICAS scheme.
