Our curriculum has at its heart; collaborating, questioning, imagining, reasoning, persevering, empathising and reviewing.
" Outdoor Learning is about raising achievement through an organised, powerful approach to learning in which direct experience is of prime importance. This is not only about WHAT we learn but impiortantly HOW and WHERE we learn." Learning Outside the Classroom
None of the outdoor learning enrichments are signed up online. If you wish to attend any of the outdoor learning enrichments you must attend one of the sign up sessions.
These sessions will be advertised at the start of each term and places are allocated on a first come first served basis. Get there early to avoid disappointment.
Enrichments that are delivered through external providers may be subject to charge. All charges will be advertised at the point of signing up.
This enrichment only runs in the September and May terms and offers a number of places to go out and ride our fleet of Specialized Rockhopper bikes. This enrichment involves lots of climbing and descending hills and requires a good level of fitness. It is an extended enrichment that finishes at 6.30pm.
12 places are available for a term at a time. All instruction is provided by fully qualified members of staff and equipment is provided. You should wear your normal PE kit. This enrichment offers the opportunity to participate in the NICAS scheme.
Further enrichment information can be found at here.
