Year 8 students visited the National Railway Museum, York to participate in their flagship Engineering Challenge Day. The day had an emphasis on science, maths and the application of new technologies to solve real-life problems.

Year 8 students visited the National Railway Museum, York to participate in their flagship Engineering Challenge Day. The programme had a strong emphasis on science, maths and the application of new technologies to solve real-life design problems and challenges as part of a team.


In addition to a tour of the museum, academy students took part in a range of fun problem solving workshops and presentations and also got the opportunity to meet graduate engineers to discuss careers in engineering.
