Students have performed very well in their GCSE examinations and equivalent qualifications this year and we warmly congratulate them on their achievements.

Despite a more rigorous examinations system, 82.3% of students achieved 5A*-C grades with at least 67% of students gaining five or more good GCSE passes including English, mathematics. Pleasingly, there were many students achieving the coveted top grades, with 23.4% of all grades being A*-A.

Whilst we are proud of all of our students, there were some particularly notable performances this year, including Prabhdev Sandhu (1A**, 9A*s, 2As), Evie Donald (7A*s, 4As), Emily Waters (6A*s, 4As, 2Bs), Harrison Braithwaite (6A*s, 3As, 3Bs) and Zachary Greenan (5A*s, I distinction*, 5As) to name but a few of many high achievers.

We look forward to welcoming the majority of our Y11 leavers back again in September as they embark on their chosen Post 16 courses with us. For those who are starting employment, apprenticeships or courses elsewhere, we wish every success in the future.
