During the first week of July, our Key Stage 3 students experienced a week of suspended timetable activities for our Bookend Curriculum. Every year the school completely revamps the curriculum for the students and they get to take part in exciting and different challenges during the week.

Year 7 took part in a variety of projects across the fields of chemistry, biology, physics, geography and English. Year 8 earned points in tutor groups through competing in challenges including murder mystery, golf extreme, the apprentice, enchanting Egyptians, high ropes and many more. Year 9 gained an intensive week of cultural and vocational experiences (CaVEs) in an area of their choosing including refunk your junk, the great british sewing bee, criminal minds, motor vehicle, earth, wind and fire, adventure and many more.

The experiences that the students had and the work that they created was second-to-none. A great week was enjoyed by staff and students alike.
