On Saturday 7th March, one of our talented Year 11 dancers took part in a dance workshop with Strictly Come Dancing stars Robin and Kristina culminating in a Samba performance in the evening.

On Saturday 7th March, one of our talented Year 11 dancers took part in a dance workshop with Strictly Come Dancing stars Robin Windsor and Kristina Rhianoff.

Sarah rehearsed with the two 'Strictly' stars from 1-4pm at Queen Elthelburga's College in York, before performing a samba routine with them in the evening. She was accepted to attend the workshop along with only sixteen other students from outside the school due to her accomplishments to date and her dance background.

Dance teacher, Miss Clapham describes Sarah as, "a very talented dancer who is currently completing her advanced ballet examinations." She also told us that, "Sarah passed the first two parts of the ballet examination with very high scores, achieving the highest marks of all the dancers entered at her ballet school. She also dances with Victoria Armstrong for Latin and ballroom and competes in the advanced level at competitions in Blackpool."

Sarah was placed in the front row for the evening performance and danced with Kai, a male student from Queen Ethelburga's College, right next to Robin and Kristina.
