On Wednesday 11th March Macmillan Academy hosted its annual 'Language Leaders' event. Students from Archibald Primary School came into the MFL department where they spend a day learning about different languages and completing creative tasks linked to cultural events around the world.

The day was planned, organised and delivered by the Year 9 'Language Leaders' who have been working hard in preparation over the last few months. The Archibald students were given taster sessions in Italian, Spanish and French before trying out paint blowing, plate decorating and mask design. It was a fun day for all and the Archibald students showed excellent enthusiasm and language skills.

We look forward to learning some new languages together next year!
