Post 16 Five-a-Side Competition
Sixty post 16 students took part in a very successful five-a-side competition at Goals on Wednesday 9th May. Click to see how they got on.
It was fantastic to see so many post 16 students turn up to take part in a spirited five-a-side competition at Goals. The event was organised with the aim of raising funds for the Post 16 Leaver's event and each team contributed funds to take part.
The students enjoyed an entertaining and enjoyable afternoon of football and were particularly inventive with some of their team names, which included 'Vicious and Delicious', 'Hardly Athletic' and 'Ravo's Rovers'.
Ravo's Rovers faced Vicious and Delicious in the final in a finely contested match. Both teams showed spirit but it was Vicious and Delicious who came up trumps with Umran Shelmani tapping in for the winner.
