Staff at Macmillan Academy are today celebrating alongside last year’s Year 11 students as they receive their GCSE results.

Earlier this week, our GCSE and A Level students visited the Yorkshire Sculpture Park as part of their studies.

The park provided an excellent opportunity for students to explore the site, allowing them to further sustain their interest in contemporary art and sculpture.

We are confident that our students found this an enriching learning experience, and it will serve as the foundation for work they will further develop back at the academy. Well done to everyone who took part—we look forward to seeing the outcomes of your research and experiences!
