Mini Audio Equipment
The use of any mini audio equipment requiring earphones or headphones is forbidden. Equipment of this kind should not be brought into the Academy as we believe that it interferes with learning. However, students will be permitted to use them when travelling to and from the Academy.
Students who cannot follow this instruction and choose to bring mini audio equipment into the Academy will face the following sanctions:
First Offence
The audio equipment will be confiscated and returned to the student at the end of the day.
Parents will be contacted via a letter explaining the circumstances and asking for their support.
Second Offence
The audio equipment will be confiscated and will only be returned to the parents of the student at the end of a scheduled interview with either the Head of Year or the Assistant Principal (Student Development).
Disclaimer
The Academy will not take any responsibility for the loss, theft or damage of any mobile phone or similar devices brought onto the Academy site. Students who bring any mini audio equipment into the Academy do so at their own risk.
