How to Apply
To come to Macmillan Academy in September 2010 you need to complete an application form. If your school is part of the Common Application Process you can submit your application on line. However we also accept paper copies of our application form. If you attend any other school you must send your completed application form directly to Mrs Hill at the address on the reverse of this prospectus. If you currently attend Macmillan Academy you need to forward the completed form to Mrs Hill in the Post 16 Study Centre.
The closing date for all applications is Friday 26 February 2010.
All applicants who meet this deadline are invited to interview. We will at this point discuss the course/courses that you have applied for, in light of your most recent school report, mock exam results, your interests and career aspirations. We treat all students as individuals and want to help ensure that you make balanced and appropriate choices that are likely to end in success.
Firm offers of a place are made by letter by April 2010.
All students offered a place will be expected to attend a Bridging Week which will run from Tuesday 12 July 2010 which will help you to make a final decision on your options as well as meet your new Personal Tutor and fellow tutees.
