CAREERS LIBRARY

The Careers Library is located next to the main Library.

It has an extensive range of information resources suitable for students in Year 7, up to Year 13.

SUPPORT

The Careers Team works closely with Heads of Year, SEN Department and teaching staff to ensure all students are aware of the facility and have inclusive access to it.

It has successful partnerships with local industry to offer studentspic post 16 experience of the world of work.

These links are developed further through Next Steps Day, Health Day, mock interviews and guest speakers.

To take the pressure from working parents, a University Open Day Programme is offered to Post 16 students who are interested in going to higher education; the Academy will provide transport to the universities.

Careers resources are also available through remote desktop under curriculum software, enabling student access to information either at school or in their home.
