INTRODUCING MACSTAR!

macstarMeet the newest member of our Academy....MACSTAR!

MACSTAR was introduced to Year 7 students during their induction experience in June 2008.

It has proved very successful and has been a key feature within the year group.

The essence of MACSTAR fully supports our mission statement and the ethos of the Academy. Good manners;  a positive attitude; exemplary conduct; high standards; teamwork;  high levels of achievement in all aspects of Academy life; and respect for others and the environment.

MACSTAR is being promoted within the remainder of Key Stage 3 this week in their assembly programme.

During their induction experience at the end of June, Year 6 students will also be introduced to MACSTAR.

A  MACSTAR key ring has been designed and produced to support the posters already around the Academy and it is available for purchase by students, staff and parents from next week. The cost is of the key ring is £2.00 and 10% of the cost will go to a charity to be decided by the Student Council.

MACSTAR stands for:
