Hepatitis B vaccinations
At present there are no plans from the Government to continue Hepatitis B vaccinations for the academic year 2011/11
HPV vaccinations 2011/12 -Year 8 girls:
Stage 1 - Tuesday 11th October 2011
Stage 2 - Tuesday 22nd November 2011
Stage 3 -Tuesday 27th March 2012
Diphtheria, Tetanus and Polio vaccination – Year 10:
Tuesday 21st February 2012
Please note TB vaccinations are no longer offered in schools, according to national policy from 2004.

At Macmillan your physical health (how healthy your body is) and your emotional health (how you feel) is very important to us. We will make every effort to encourage you to develop healthy behaviours. Whether it is the food you choose to eat, the amount of exercise you take part in or how well you make friends! You will be taught how to make good choices.
You will be taught about these issues through;

Macmillan has been awarded the Healthy Schools Award because of the policies and opportunities that we have at the Academy.
