Where's the Love in the Hood?
The CaVE will be run by Miss Eddon, Miss Brickley and Mrs Kelly. Students will be looking at whether faith is still important today.
Students will be visiting and talking with members of a number of local places of worship to find out about their views.
Students will visit Durham Cathedral to find out how it caters for the community there and whether faith is relevant to the people who live there, the university students who are around for a little while, trainee infantry soldiers and the tourists who are just passing through.
Students will also pay a visit to the Metro Centre to investigate how faith comes into a shopping visit.
In addition students will investigate how the Media rely heavily on aspects of faith in terms of lyrics, stories and films.
