The author Mark Robson will be visiting the Academy on December 5 to talk to students about his books, flying and motivation.

Mark Robson’s latest book, Imperial Assassin, appears in the Blue Peter Book of the Month list. He is currently in first place.

Mark is an ex-RAF pilot who got into writing due to a throwaway line from his plane navigator when they could not fly one day due to bad weather.  Mark was bored and his navigator said “Oh for goodness sake do something useful. Go write a book or something!” The challenge was successfully taken up by Mark who has become so successful he has recently left the RAF to become a full time author.
