Boyzone Tour Without Stephen
Stephen Gately sadly passed away last October and Boyzone have been grieving since. Tonight they are going to agent about his death and how they've been coping. When we asked about how Stephen died Mrs Barrett ( their agent) she denied it had anything to do with drugs; "it was due to natural causes, his lungs stopped working properly and he ended up choking on is own vomit, it could have happened to anyone."
When Stephen's bandmates found out about the death after a phone call from his long-term partner Andrew they dropped everything and flew to Majorca to see him. He got flown back to Ireland for the funeral. When asked about the new tour she said; "it defiantly it was a really tough decision at first we thought we couldn't possibly do it without Stephen but in the end we thought we should do it for Stephen make him proud."
Mrs Barrett also said that she thinks Boyzone will still be as good tonight as they were with Stephen just that it will be different.
This will be a very good tribute for a much loved star.
