ABOUT US
This section of the Macmillan Academy website was created for BBC School News Day. Annual project involving hundreds of schools and thousands of students across the UK.
Students decide which news stories their school should report. The project culminates in a News Day in March when news is published on school websites, to which the BBC links. Students and their work are featured on many BBC news programmes and platforms.
The Macmillan Academy team consists of our Studio staff, The English Departmenty and students from Year 9.
