Review - Assessing Exam Answers

 

 

Information

 

Pupils are given a sample question with a mark scheme and a range of “pupil answers”. They should identify which of the points in the mark scheme each answer should be awarded and therefore rank the answers in order of merit. This makes the pupils more aware of how they will be marked in exams and what they need to do to achieve the highest grade possible. This can also be used as a revision tool
