Year 6 summer camps
OVERViEW
Macmillan are proud to launch our summer camp offering an exciting opportunity to participate in one of three programmes.
These programmes are open to year 6 students with a confirmed place who will start at Macmillan Academy in September 2013.
These programmes are all free. All these activities are run on site at Macmillan Academy.
arts
The arts summer camp runs from the 29 July – 2 august 2013, full attendance is required on each of the five days. This is an opportunity for you to develop your making and performing skills with specialist coaches. The resulting creative work will be performed and exhibited at the end of the week.
Adventure
The adventure summer camp runs from 29 July – 2 august 2013. This programme runs daily with a combination of rock climbing and activity on the high ropes course running each day. Students may book either daily, a combination of days, however the programme will be identical.
Multisports
The multisports summer camp runs from 29 July – 2 august 2013 and from the 5 – 9 august 2013. Activities will include : football, rounder’s, netball, basketball, hockey, quick cricket, handball, dodgeball, table tennis and other team building activities. Activities are subject to change but students will experience at least four different activities each day. This is a multisports camp, students will be expected to partake in all activities provided. Students may book for the full week. A number of day places exists.

Full supervision will be provided from 08.45 to 14.30 each day. Normal standards of behaviour and sanctions apply.
Each summer camp ends at 14.30 and students must be collected from the Academy reception each day.
HOW TO BOOK

Registration will be taken on a first come first served basis and a confirmation letter will be sent to you confirming your booking.
Lunch will be provided for all students, free of charge and will include a sandwich, fruit and water.
